SAGA (South African Geophysical Association)

The SAGA was founded in 1977 to foster and encourage the development of Geophysics in South Africa and has since grown to over 350 members worldwide. SAGA hosts regular monthly talks, produces a topical newsletter, presents shorts courses annually, and runs biennial technical meetings. Over the years SAGA has held some notable conferences focusing on mining, minerals, and energy resources issues. EAGE and SAGA members can both access presentations from past meetings on EarthDoc.
