Summary:
The near-surface problem in land data can be address through the use of waveform inversion. Robust waveform inversion is made possible with the use of low frequency data; new digital receiver technologies make possible the acquisition of ultra-low frequency data. Our aim is to encourage development of this technique for application to the near-surface problem with land data.
