DOHERTY Summary Using our newly developed vector 3C3D VSP migration we have successfully imaged a 3D salt structure using VSP data originally acquired for 2D imaging. In addition we also discuss a case study where a 3D salt boundary was imaged by a single component 3D VSP migration using S-S wave data. Introduction For accurate high resolution reservoir imaging 3D VSP data is able to provide play a unique role and add significant value to the parameterization and interpretation of a 3D
