P082 NEW ELECTRODYNAMIC GEOPHONES Abstract 1 In last decades electrodynamic geophones have been preferably used in land reflection seismology. Their reliability phase identity dynamic range nonlinear distortions noise level output resistance mass temperature range and absence of power source meet the requirements of seismics. Geophone output signals are proportional to motion velocity of its case. Velocity geophones have some disadvantages: • They suppress seismic signal low-frequency components as a high-pass filter lower than natural frequency; • They convert signals having movement more than 0.24 mm with nonlinear distortion factor which is in excess of allowable one; • They cannot convert
