Summary:
Studies in recent years have shown the value of dynamic data such as production, particular well testing in further improving geological and existing reservoir simulation models (Zheng et al. 2003; 2007 and Zheng 2006). The industry practice requires the inputs from multi-disciplines to reduce uncertainties effectively in the process of the oilfield development as well as the real time reservoir management. In this context, along with more and more quality long term dynamic data available, coupled with significantly improved testing facilities; data processing and numerical well testing techniques and procedures, a platform to integrate data from different measurements at multiple scales and conditions becomes the essential part of the industry best practice. Presented below in this paper are two case studies to demonstrate this practice in an intension to promote integration of dynamic data to improve geological and reservoir simulation models.
