In traditional data analysis methods, harmonics are treated as noise in vibroseis acquisition. More recently, in the blended acquisition process, harmonics have been used as an effective source for improving the excitation effect, thereby improving the overall seismic imaging. In this paper, we demonstrate that by starting with the harmonic characteristics of the analysis and using an iterative pure phase-shift method to separate different-order harmonics, a broadband can be achieved after appropriate correlation and imaging.
