Summary:
We have developed a new method for the interpretation of gravity data, based on the generalized Tilt-depth method. Our method applied the magnetic data depth estimation method (Tilt-depth) to gravity data using sphere, infinite horizontal and vertical cylinder models. The improvement of the new method is that we generalized the Tilt-depth method for the depth estimation for different sources type of body. The new technique uses gravity data observed or calculated on different height plan to estimate the buried bodies depth without the prior information about the sources shape factor. For the seriously noise-corrupted data, our method utilizes different upward continuation height data, which can reduce the noise influence effectively. Compared to the traditional Tilt-depth method, the new purposed method can get the results fast and accurately.
