Summary:
In this paper microalgae-based carbon capture technology have been introduced and claimed to be to be more economical than conventional CCS methods such as pre combustion, post combustion and oxy-fuel combustion. Indeed carbon dioxide removal is accompanied with production of a valuable product named biodiesel which in subsequent process can be converted to more value-added products. Feasibility of this technology for fuel combustion power plants based on Tous power plant examined and its ability for reduction of carbon dioxide and global warming mitigation have been analyzed.in another words In this work reduction of Greenhouse gases (GHG) by practical application of this emerging technology in Tous power plant have been considered and different parameters involved in entire process have been discussed. Finally the minimum area required for removal of total carbon dioxide emissions from plant would be calculated.
