A new vision of attributes generated from the calculation of RMS values (root mean square) normalized on amplitudes of seismic traces, allows for a different approach information viewing data from another point of view. It does impact the result of the seismic interpretation, both structural and stratigraphic. AVT (Amplitude Volume Techniques) visualizations provide a particular spectrum of possibilities in the representation, interpretation and analysis of seismic data. In this paper, some results of the application of the techniques mentioned and the impact on the seismic data will be displayed. It will be therefore possible to visualize and project interesting alternatives at the stage of analysis and seismic interpretation, looking in structural and stratigraphic situations of varying complexity. From the seismic data point of view, with AVT techniques, it is possible to generate images that reinforce the structural imprint of the subsurface and delineated stratigraphic and geometric characteristics. Enhancement observation of inconsistencies in the continuity of seismic features is one of the basic objectives of the process. The attributes proposed have proved to be an appropriate tool in recognizing seismic patterns, often associated with the optimization in the continuity of the reflectors and the visual appearance of the edges of the geobodies, in identifying fault zones, as well as in observing the limits and stratigraphic terminations, lateral variations and their association with various sismofacies, and above all, without altering the basic seismic response of the geological characteristics.
