Summary:
Elastic feasibility study was performed on a foothills synthetic model. A special focus was put on signal to noise ratio of the modelled data to mimic real shots as much as possible. Blind processing sequence was performed leading to PSTM sections. True velocity model was used for PSDM imaging. Results show gain for wider and denser acquisition patterns. The replacement of dense crossline sampling by CRS seams questionable.
