Summary:
System “VECTOR” realizes essentially new method of processing and interpretation of potential fields
data, based on transformations of vectors of complete horizontal gradient. Transformations at a level of vectors,
vector field scanning followed by integration of the field make it possible to separate in detail the
sources of field anomalies in lateral and depth directions binding each anomaly source on a scale of effective
depths. The result of such transformations is a geophysical model of geological structure adequate to the potential
fields. The system effectiveness is affirmed by numerous outcomes of its practical usage for solving
the problems of petroleum and mining industries.
