Summary:
In the projects presented risks for horisontal directional drilling (HDD) have been in focus during integrated site investgations. Risks were identified based on geotechnical, geological and geophysical data and geological site inspections have been used to address the likelihood of the risk. The final list of identified risk and likelihood was evaluated in an iterative process between the geotechnical engineers and the geoscientists from both Energinet and COWI. The possible consequences have been evaluated by HDD Engineering Specialists, which also added technical risk and suggested possible mitigation measures for contractor work to the final risk assessment.
