Summary:
On the basis of litho-facial studies of core and electric log facies both facies and depositional environments have been distinguished in the Lower Cretaceous sedimentary sequences of the Karabashskaya search zone of the Western Siberia. Lower Cretaceous sedimentary sequences were formed in the delta, slope, deepwater-marine and turbidite complexes of facies. Potential reservoirs zone are associated with underwater deltaic facies, supply turbidite channels, proximal river-mouth bars and proximal turbidites fans in the eastern part of the study area.
