Summary:
Microseismic monitoring of natural active fracturing allows to estimate the microseismic activity of the area in the investigated depth interval, to construct a map of the local fractures orientation and to identify the zones with its greatest activity. Preliminary knowledge of natural active fractures network map and its orientation allow to estimate the optimal locations for wells drilling and to design the horizontal part of well, optimizing the waterflooding of the deposits, predicting the development of fracturing before the performing of hydraulic fracturing, and others. Ultimately, this will increase the efficiency of geological exploration and production of hydrocarbon deposits, and will reduce unproductive costs.
