Summary:
Some seismic data processing methods, including migration and full waveform inversion, need a known source signature before the processing is conducted. But it is difficult to obtain an accurate wavelet for practical seismic data. In this paper, we present a method for trying to decrease the side-effect on migration image resulted by an incorrect wavelet. We use a convolution-based objective to accomplish source-independent elastic LSRTM. Numerical examples show that our method has the ability to recover the reflectivity model with incorrect source wavelet.
