Summary:
A brief description of each stage is provided and an example of the application of this methodology is given on the example of Teresva River basin territory. Based on the complex influence of the main factors of mudflow development, existing representations and actual data of mudflow phenomena, mudflow hazard areas are identified. For them, the time periodicity of mudflow processes activating and the logical influence of time factors on the processes of formation are determined. Based on certain information mudflow risks have been counted and cartogram of mudflow risk assessment within the limits of administrative-territorial units has been built.
