In the composition of the calculated accumulations of the Cenozoic complex, both liquid hydrocarbons — oil and gas condensate, and gaseous — are predicted. The depths of the predicted accumulations of hydrocarbons vary from 1 km in the west of the studied water area, to 4.5 km in the east. High prospects of this complex are predicted in the central and eastern parts of the studied water area, where large traps of the structural class are located. It is necessary to clarify that the main hydrocarbon accumulations are confined to such structures as: the South Tatar deflection and the West Sakhalin deflection, the Krasnogorsk anticline, this is where hydrocarbon accumulations (mainly gas) are revealed. As a result of the work done, we can assume that in the near future, this promising oil and gas field will move to a new stage of exploration. In the study of generation-accumulation hydrocarbon systems of the South Tatar depression, it was found that the sedimentary cover of the Tatar trough water area has great power. This region is characterized by a “avalanche” type of sedimentation, characterized by a significant sedimentation rate, similar to the basin of the South Caspian Basin.
