Summary:
The Kwanza and Lower Congo basin region belongs the to the South Atlantic passive continental margin, which recently became of interest for global oil and gas exploration. In order to clarify the pre-salt structure and further guide exploration in this deep water area, targeted data processing and comprehensive analysis have been done for satellite gravity. In combination with the interpretation of seismic profiles at key structural sites, the overall uplift, burial pattern and the distribution of fault system are summarized. This can provide the reference for the delineation of favorable exploration zones.
