Here we present a comprehensive geophysical geohazard monitoring approach, built on geoelectrical imaging and encompassing novel monitoring instrumentation, automated data processing, and web-based information delivery. The approach is referred to as the PRIME (Proactive Infrastructure Monitoring and Evaluation) system. We describe the concept, and consider how it contributes to geohazard monitoring, forecasting and information delivery.
