Thermohydrodynamic methods are widely used for diagnostics of horizontal wells. Generally, horizontal wells have low local flow velocity and small pressure drop. Thus, flow spinners may not work and temperature logs can be uninformative for pay zones allocation. In this regard, a promising approach is the use of heat marks for pay zones allocation and inflow profiling. Features of temperature distribution in the wellbore in the presence of heat sources are considered in this paper. In addition, there is an analysis of field data with temperature marks formed by well tractor, which is used for tool and induction heater conveyance.
