Summary:
This paper presents results of our work on developing tools to model GPR data from active potash mine roofs in Saskatchewan, Canada. GPR is used to track the thickness of mining roofs and to evaluate the depth of a known artifact which is a clay seam in the formation. Our simulation tool supports the development of auto-picking algorithms that can be used to track the clay seam.
