Summary:
An iterative approach to solving the inverse problem of gravity and magnetic survey in the three-dimensional version is proposed and tested on model data by solving a forward problem to eliminate the effect of sedimentary cover rocks on the resulting anomalous field. Transformations of fields into the upper half-space and transformations of the calculation of higher derivatives allow us to isolate and delineate the main anomalous bodies, which is confirmed by a comprehensive analysis of the material composition of the object under study. The use of a detailed synthetic geological model made it possible to work out the basic procedures for processing and interpreting gravimagnetic data for further practical implementation.
